WANTED: Toronto Police Are Looking For A Man Who Broke Into A Home Armed With An Axe, Stole Jewellery And Took A Shower Before Leaving

Toronto Police Services is requesting the help of the public in finding a man who broke into a home armed with an axe, stole jewellery and money and even had time to take a shower before leaving.

That’s right, local authorities say that on Saturday, October 16, at 8:46 p.m. they responded to reports of a break and enter in the Clancy Drive and Van Horne Avenue area.

They say that a man broke into someone’s house carrying an axe, stole “a quantity of jewellery and money” and cleaned up, literally, before departing. Police also say the suspect spent hours inside the home, according to a press release issued Thursday.

The man is described as 5’8″-5’10”, with a slim build, and dark curly hair. According to officials, the suspect was last seen wearing a light coloured hooded jacket, light coloured pants, tan and brown ankle boots similar to ‘Blundstones’.

A photo of him has also been released.
