Everyone’s favourite Toronto Raptor, Kyle Lowry, is getting the royal treatment from a Toronto restaurant in the form of delicious chicken.
That’s right, Churrasqueira Martins has offered Lowry free chicken for life if he re-signs with the Raptors.
Rui Martins, the restaurant owner, came up with the clever marketing campaign to commemorate the Raptors two-year championship.
In fact, he took his marketing to new heights with a gigantic billboard in the middle of Yonge-Dundas Square.
“Kyle Lowry, if you stay we’ll give you free chicken for life,” reads the billboard.
Lowry’s future with the Raps is unknown at the moment, the 35-year old guard is currently a free agent.
What’s more, there’s a lot of rumours swirling around lately on whether Lowry will stay with the Raptors or decide to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Raptors had a rough 2020-2021 season in Tampa and for the first time in eight years, they did not make the playoffs.
