Canadian Marvel And ‘Shang-Chi’ Star Simu Liu Is The Latest Victim Of Cancel Culture As His Old Racist, Sexist And Homophobic Twitter And Reddit Posts Surface

Simu Liu, the Canadian actor and star of the new Marvel movie, Shang-Chi, is the latest celebrity to face the cancel mob after people dug up past comments the actor made online.

The former Kim’s Convenience star is being blasted on Twitter for his alleged racist, homophobic and sexist posts on Reddit and Twitter

In a Reddit post from 2015, someone believed to be Liu, talks about how being a pedophile isn’t that different from being gay, saying that from a biological standpoint, it’s exactly the same.

He goes on to allude that being homosexual used to be a crime, and pedophilia may too become accepted in time.

Others are calling him out for a since deleted tweet from 2012, where he says he confused a homeless man yelling at a pigeon for Nicki Minaj.

Siu also deleted a tweet from 2018 where he called out Mark Wahlberg for beating up two Vietnamese men.

He removed it shortly after he was cast in a movie with Wahlberg, which he was heavily criticized for. Many people accused him of being opportunistic and insincere.

In another post from the Reddit account believed to be Liu, he argues that women aren’t as good at sports, and he gets frustrated when one is on his team.

In 2019, before his fame took off, Simu Liu posted a disclaimer on Twitter saying that if you were to dig back far enough, you’d find an immature version of himself that gave in to anger and hate.
