In 2018, RAMØ began working with his “DREAMTROOPZ” team to ensure their impact is felt on Toronto’s rising music scene. Since getting started, the artist has recorded over a 100 songs, and kept all of their work in house. From vocals, to audio engineers, to video directors, the team is focused on building together.
Their debut music video comes from RAMØ, who has shared that music is therapy to him. He feels most comfortable expressing himself while in the studio. That said, he also knows how to make bangers. In 2021, the artist released several singles preceding a nine song project that shows off his musical range.
The artist just released his first single of 2022, “CLOUDY,” with an accompanying music video. It’s only been a week since its release and the video has over 5,000 views.
The single has a level of bounce and catchiness that is sure to make it a fan favourite.
The song starts with a spacey synth sample but very quickly drops into a captivating drum pattern. The artist matches the energy of the drums with his infectious hook, in which he aims to go from “T.DOT to MIA,” like he’s (Kyle) Lowry.
The visuals are simple but still aspirational and entertaining. First, the video shows RAMØ rapping along to his song in a nice condo along with his friends. Then, the video cuts to scenes of the him flexing with a G-Wagon on a snowy winter night.
