Beloved former city councillor and Toronto’s ‘6 Dad,’ Norm Kelly is back on Twitter.
On Tuesday, Kelly tweeted for the first time in almost two years in true Norm Kelly-form by welcoming rapper Bobby Shmurda home from prison.
Yesterday, he seemed to be back to his old ways, dropping some words of wisdom.
Kelly was a long-time Toronto city councillor representing Scarborough-Agincourt. He also served as acting Mayor of Toronto from 2013 to 2014.
Kelly first started tweeting in July of 2010. Over the years, his Twitter account has racked up over 600,000 followers for his funny, millennial-savvy content.
In 2015, Kelly became an international Internet sensation when he weighed in on the feud between Drake and Meek Mill.
In the same year, he was named by Twitter Canada as the country’s most valuable tweeter, beating out Justin Bieber, PK Subban, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
It’s safe to say Torontonians are happy about his return.
