Manifesto Is Set To Celebrate Their Sweet Sixteen With An Updated Star-Studded Line Up – They Also Have A Free Youtube Music Summit For Emerging Creatives

Manifesto has been a staple to Toronto’s music scene for years. To celebrate their 16th year of the music festival, they will be bringing out some major stars.

Many high-level talents have graced their stages such as Koffee, Ari Lennox, Isaiah Rashad and Daniel Caesar.

Manifesto’s mantra is to create spaces that inspire, develop and amplify diverse communities of young people through arts, culture, and media.

This year, the festival teamed up with Live Nation to celebrate their sweet sixteen and opted for a star-studded lineup including Grammy-Award-winning singer Jazmine Sullivan.

Nigerian singer and breakout star Tems had to pull out due to “ongoing visa issues,” and will be replaced by DVSN.

The festival also includes an abundance of Canadian talent with the likes of Amaal, Dylan Sinclair, and Zeina.

Manifesto Volume 16 takes place on Friday, August 12, at the Budweiser Stage.

Tickets are currently available at Ticketmaster.

Manifesto Festival Volume 16 will also include The Summit presented by Youtube Music and a FSTVL SZN showcase.

The Summit is a curated gathering that welcomes emerging artists and the next generation of music and arts industry executives to a unique, hands-on, interactive experience that will enhance their artistry and provide the opportunity to network with industry-leading creatives who are making waves in their respective fields.

This year’s summit will be a two-part series on August 9th – 10th, with day one featuring workshops from Greg Mateo, Adrienne “Ada” Hopkins and Eric Richards and Rahul Madan.

The night will conclude with Manifesto Sounds: Listening Session featuring Tomi Banks, Jordon Manswell, Rachel “Rachie” Jackson, and Adam McFarland.

On day two, participants will get the opportunity to engage in a series of one-on-one conversations featuring Ajani Charles, Nicko Bruno, Kristen and Reafe, Tuma Basa and Nella Rose.
