Hidden Gems: DUVY Ventures Off Into New Artistic Territory In His Single And Video For ‘STAND WITCHU’

DUVY is consistently releasing high-quality music and putting on for the 6ix, even gaining a signature sound in the process. However, his brand new song “STAND WITCHU” feels like a whole new different level for him.

Most of the artist’s releases are extremely upbeat, high-energy, and often pretty aggressive. This new song though is a little bit slower and feels more sentimental than anything he’s put out before.

The brand new single “STAND WITCHU” is out right now and already has over 30,000 views on YouTube and close to 20,000 streams on Spotify.

The song first starts off with a beautiful piano melody which is then met with an impressive guitar sample. The drums come in shortly after, and although they hit hard, they fit with the relatively calm feel of the song. While the artist floats in a catchy and melodic tone, subtle saxophone samples play behind him.

With the new single, DUVY proves to his fans that he can sound just as good on slower songs as he can on the ones that are more intense. This single quickly follows the release of “DRILL,” which further solidifies the artist’s confidence in his range.

The music video, directed by JulezLeo, features mostly solo shots of the artist as he maneuvers around his local neighbourhood. The video is dark and moody but features impressive edits from the visual team.
