Blacka Da Don has had to overcome a lot to get to a place where he can happily create music and art for his fans. Over the course of his career, he’s lost extremely important people in his life, but each time, he’s made it a point to go harder.
Blacka has been consistently putting out quality music for several years now and he’s still getting better. He’s also still pulling in new fans with each song.
His newest song is an ode to his tough past and triumphant recovery. The single, titled “Honda Civic” is already a fan-favourite and an aggressive banger. It was released alongside an official music video which was shot on site at the Strada Car Show in Vaughan.
The new song features a unique instrumental loop with strings and keys that come in before the powerful thumping drums. Blacka Da Don then comes in with a mesmerizing flow that is high energy and catchy. He raps about his come up, in which the Honda Civic played a major role. The dope energy provided by the beat was taken care of by Yung Milly and JSPR.
As mentioned earlier, the video, which was done by TK.PRODUCTIONS and BROWNGUYMADEIT, was filmed at this year’s Strada Car Show. The video is also high energy with Blacka and his crew pictured in several scenes looking like they’re having a great time. Whether they’re bobbing their heads in the Honda Civic or dancing outside of it, it’s fun and appreciated.
