Health Canada Just Approved New Name Changes For The COVID-19 Vaccines And They Sound Ridiculous As H*ll

Did you get Pfizer? No, you didn’t. You got Comirnaty.

Health Canada just authorized the names of the three primary COVID-19 vaccines in Canada to be changed.

Yeah, you read that right. As if the names weren’t hard enough to spell/ say, we’re now going to have to memorize an entirely new set of names.

The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will now be called Comirnaty, Moderna’s new name is SpikeVax, and AstraZeneca will be called Vaxzevria.

In a series of tweets, Health Canada confirmed the news and reassured people that although the names were changing, the vaccines themselves were not.

This is how people are reacting:

We dare you to say Comirnaty ten times really fast and not mess up. Good luck and let us know how you did!
