El Chapo’s Wife Pleaded Guilty To Drug Charges In The U.S And Is Awaiting Sentencing

The wife of Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman pleaded guilty Thursday to charges in the US related to her husband’s criminal empire.  Emma Coronel Aispuro, 31, made her guilty plea in Washington with the assistance of a translator. Her charges include conspiring to distribute heroin, marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine. She also pleads guilty to money laundering and engaging in transactions with a foreign narcotics officer. Prosecutors claim that she “worked closely with the command and control structure” of her husband’s cartel and was responsible for large quantities of drugs being smuggled into the US. 2 Kids In Florida Got Into A Shooting Match With Police Officers After Robbing Guns From A Home

Police in Florida say a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy allegedly stole guns from someone’s home and later opened fire at officers. It was reported that on Tuesday night, two children ran away from a group home, broke into a house and stole firearms in Volusia County, Florida. Police say among the stolen guns was an AK-47. According to the report, police tried to speak to the children and get them to surrender. And when that didn’t work, the children began to shoot. A County Sheriff reportedly said the children fired from everywhere and one of them, the young girl, threatened to kill a sergeant.
