Team Canada Beats Russia And Heads To The Finals In The World Juniors Challenge

Canada’s Junior Hockey Team whoops Team Russia 5 – 0 in the World Juniors Hockey Semi-Finals. Over the years, both teams have made a history of going back and forth with each other in the hockey rink. And at the beginning of the game, Canada made sure to show Russia they weren’t playing around. Canadian player Alex Newhook scored a goal in less than 1 minute. Canada quickly followed up with 4 more goals to officially end Russia’s chances of playing in the finals. This is a big win for Team Canada, and they’ll now advance to the finals in the World Juniors Hockey Challenge to play either Team USA or Team Finland. Love0

The Guelph Police Service possesses a device known as a Graykey, which allows officers to bypass your iPhone passcode, and copy stored information, reporting by the Guelph Mercury Tribune uncovered. In a letter responding to a request of information issued by the Mercury Tribune, the Guelph Police Service confirmed that they do have a device known as a Graykey. Further reporting uncovered that the Guelph police department have no policy how or when this technology should be used. Loblaws to Bring Self-Driving Delivery Vehicles in Toronto

You may soon be able to get groceries delivered to your front door by self-driving vehicles in the GTA. Loblaw Companies Limited recently announced a signed partnership deal with tech company Gatik to develop and test autonomous delivery vehicles in Toronto starting in January. Gatik plans to operate five vehicles seven days a week, twelve hours a day, on five routes with predetermined pick-up and drop-off locations. This follows a successful 10-month on-road testing pilot which saw one autonomous delivery vehicle follow a route manned by a safety driver as co-pilot. The trucks will be outfitted with refrigeration units, lift gates, and autonomous self-driving software for urban, suburban, and highway driving. After being a staple in Kensington Market for a decade, Cold Tea Bar has officially closed its doors for good. Peel Regional Police To End Program That Places Officers in Schools

Peel Regional Police have ended the School Resource Officer Program after the community raised concerns about the negative impact the program had on students.
