BREAKING: Kyle Rittenhouse Was Just Acquitted And Cleared Of All Charges In The Kenosha Shooting

Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial has already outlasted most high-profile court cases.

And he’s been officially found not guilty.

The jury, which acquitted Rittenhouse, appeared to be overwhelmingly white and reviewed the case for close to 3.5 days.

On Friday, Kyle Rittenhouse was cleared on all charges after pleading self-defence in the Kenosha shootings where he fatally shot 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum and 26-year-old Anthony Huber and injured 26-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz in the arm with a semi-automatic rifle.

Rittenhouse was 17-years-old at the time.

His charges included homicide, attempted homicide and reckless endangering with an AR-style semi-automatic rifle during a night of peaceful protest regarding the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

If found guilty, Rittenhouse faced life in prison for first-degree intentional homicide.

Rittenhouse’s lawyers had pointed to video evidence that showed that Rosenbaum chasing him and Huber attempting to attack him, which prompted the two fatal shootings in self-defence. It was also pointed out that Grosskeutz had a gun and was pointing it to Rittenhouse’s head.

The weapon was also claimed to have been illegally purchased by Rittenhouse, who claimed that he had joined the Kensosha protests with other armed citizens in order to ‘protect property and provide medical aid’.
