Two brothers in their 20’s were shot during a home invasion in Hamilton’s Mount Hope neighbourhood, leaving one dead, while another brother was left in critical condition.

But that’s not all, their father was nowhere to be found after he was abducted. However, he was found approximately 6 hours after the invasion and was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The invasion occurred during the early hours of Thursday.

Hamilton police received reports of a shooting at a home in the area of Glancaster and Dickenson road just before 3 a.m.

When the police arrived, they found the two brothers suffering from life-threatening injuries. They were transported to the hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries and the other remained in critical condition.

The brother’s identities have not been disclosed as of yet. Their father, 63-year-old Faqir Ali, was abducted from the home and forced into a dark-coloured SUV.

Ali weighs 180 pounds, 5’7, with a medium complexion and dark thinning hair. When he was abducted from his home, he was shirtless and wearing plaid pyjama bottoms.
