A 22-Year-Old Woman In Mississauga Was Found Dead In A Parking Lot After Being Shot

Just when we thought Ontario had seen enough of its recent violence, we are faced with yet another death.

This time, a 22-year-old woman lost her life to gun violence in Mississauga.

In a media release, The Peel Regional Police identified the victim as 22-year-old Marissa Radshake from Mississauga. She was found dead in the parking lot of a landscaping business around the Ninth Line and Burnhamthorpe Road West area.

Const. Akhil Mooken told reporters that the Peel Regional Police received multiple calls at around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday reporting a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of the first responders, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The area is being carefully searched by investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau. The release asks that anyone with valuable information come forward and contact investigators on the case.
