A 17-Year-Old Girl Was Struck By A Vehicle In Scarborough This Morning And Later Died In Hospital

A 17-year-old girl is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Scarborough Tuesday morning, according to local authorities.

The collision is said to have happened at Birchmount Road and Danforth Avenue just before 12 p.m., in which a pedestrian was struck. They say the victim was a teenage girl who was transported to a hospital where she was “pronounced deceased.”

According to police, the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police at 416-808-1900.
