A 15-Year-Old Girl Was Just Charged With First Degree Murder After Fatally Shooting A 16-Year-Old Boy In Toronto

Following the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Caden Francis in July 2021, the Toronto Police Services have made an arrest.

On July 3rd at about 6 p.m, emergency services were called to Antrim Crescent, nearby Kennedy Road after receiving reports of gunshots.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder. She was set to appear in court this morning at 11 a.m in Scarborough.

Police have not released the name of the suspect, in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
