Worker Shockingly Douse Homeless Woman Amid Freezing Temperatures: Outrage Follows Cruel and Unnecessary Act of Disrespect

A convenience store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana made headlines recently when a video went viral of one of their employees throwing a bucket of water onto a homeless woman sitting outside the store.

The worker can be heard exclaiming in the video:
«Move! Not telling y'all again. Move it! Clear the —- out!»

On a cold winter day with temperatures beneath freezing, the shocking display sparked outrage on social media, and within 24 hours the employee seen in the video was fired.

The employee, Kasey Young, defended her actions and said that she had tried to get the homeless woman and her group off the store property before escalating to physical force.

However, Triple S Food Mart owner Abdullah Mufahi told reporters he was appalled by the incident and that there were many other ways the situation could have been handled.

«When I got the news, I didn't speak to the employee too much. All I told her was to leave the property because we do not handle situations like that.»

The homeless woman in the video has since been connected with the necessary resources to help her get back on her feet.
