Skunks Force Winnipeg Elementary School to Relocate Students and Staff
Stevenson-Britannia School was forced to relocate its students and staff to other locations in the community until the odour is gone.
At first, the smell was overwhelming, making it difficult for people to be in the building. However, one skunk has already been caught and relocated, and the school is taking measures to ensure it won't happen again.
Ozone generators are being used to filter the air, and the HVAC system has been adjusted accordingly. The school's principal anticipates that students will be able to return to their classrooms by early next week once the odour is no longer present.
It's definitely an unusual situation that students at Stevenson-Britannia School have had to face, but luckily the school is doing what it can to make sure everyone returns safely and comfortably.
